We request all continuing and new members to fill out the membership
form and mail the form and $30 check to the PO Box address
on the form. You may also bring the form and payment to the
meeting on Monday and hand it over to Reiko Michisaki, our membership
chairperson.
Please note: 2009 Membership dues

Heart" Show in February.

my mid-twenties I decided to follow my childhood passion for
art. I fell in love with master impressionists such as Bongart,
Sorrolla, Fechin and particularly the Russian impressionists.
It was not until I met master impressionist Ovanes Berberian
that I fully understood the endless possibilities of paint.
I have been absorbed by those possibilities ever since".

Thank you all for participating in the December Paint-In and
producing all the wonderful art for the Pleasant View Convalescent
Home. The patients always appreciate the paintings and our group
always has a great time painting together. Our thanks to Slava

General Meeting on November 10, 2008. We have a wonderful

Open
Studios / Panel Rental
|
We are now taking requests for Panel Rentals for Open Studios
in May 2009.
Preference will be given to requests from members of the 2009
FALC board who put in many volunteer hours. If there are panels
left over, they will be available by lottery for the general
membership. Please submit your panel rental requests to Carrie
Zeidman at czeidman@elanstudios.net. Be sure to specify which
weekend you are requesting for. We will give out 4 panels to
each member whose request is picked at the lottery. You will
be notified at the Feb meeting if you will get the requested
panels.
Panels are available for rent all year at $5/weekend for members
and $7 / weekend for non-members. For panel rental and availability
please email Carrie Zeidman at czeidman@elanstudios.net or call
her at 408-741-5809.
