2010 FALC Fall Fest Juried Show

Show: September 25 - 26, 2010, 10 AM - 6 PM / Location: Cupertino Room, Quinlan Center, Cupertino

Juror: George Rivera - Curator at the Triton Museum in Santa Clara

Rotary Club of Cupertino will generously sponsor $1000 in prizes. We would also like to thank the Cupertino Fine Arts Commission for their sponsorship.

The Fine Art Show will be held in conjunction with the Silicon Valley Fall Festival sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cupertino and the World Journal. This year the Fall Festival will be held at Memorial Park. The Art Show and Reception will be in the Cupertino Room at the Quinlan Center.

Only FALC exhibiting members are eligible to participate. Submission of 3 entries will ensure acceptance to the show.

Silent Auction

We will be conducting a Silent Auction of 10 paintings during the Reception. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Live Oak Adult Day Services. We urge you to consider submitting a framed piece of art/photography for the Silent Auction. FALC will use the images of the donated paintings on our publicity material in order to recognize the generous contributions of our artists. Please note: The Silent Auction entries are separate from the Juried Show entries.

Best of Show / 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place in 4 categories

The Rotary Presidents Award (given to one painting showing "Service to Community") Note: this is not the theme of the show and members are encouraged to submit artwork with a theme of their choice.

6 PM - All participating artists may leave 1 painting at Quinlan until November 8th. The rest of the paintings need to be collected at 6 PM. There will be a $10 charge for all unclaimed paintings.
