Kriti Maiya

Since the age of 6, I have been taking art classes which have allowed me to expand my art skills. My favorite mediums include color pencil, oil paint, and pastel. Since my favorite things to draw are animals and birds, they require great detail which can be achieved with careful strokes of color pencil. Until a year ago, I never used oil paint but I instantly loved it. This moment prompted me to step out of dry media and gain more experience with painting. My art style can be summarized as precise due my great attention to detail. Since I am a high schooler, in my spare time over breaks I enjoy portrait photography, experimenting with various different locations.
