To participate in FALC sponsored shows and exhibits, one must be juried in as a exhibiting member. Artists who have submitted 3 pieces of original art which meet with the approval and acceptance of the voting members will be awarded "Exhibiting Membership". Jurying in will take place at most meetings.

Membership for continuing members is $45.00 per year, January through December.

Anandhi Pugazanthi:

Anandhi Pugazanthi is a mixed media artist who lives in Cupertino, California. She started art as a hobby in her childhood, later she realized that it is her passion, since then she is doing artworks for more than a decade. She has worked with most mediums like acrylic, oil, watercolors, oil pastels, and pencil sketching. What attracts her most is the texture in her paintings and hence pursued the glue gun technique. She likes to travel and take photos of nature and landscapes, most of her paintings are inspired by them. She does not stop art within herself, she also teaches art to budding artists. Her love and passion for art and creativity have no end. Her artistic vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.

Geeta Taneja:

Geeta is a Distinguished Artist 2020 of City of Cupertino, recognized by her self representing ,contemporary and impressionist Art style. Geeta has travelled widely and stayed in different countries, it opened her vision and understanding of art and cultures. Along with her formal education, she also took training in Art for five years from a renowned Artist Rameshwar Broota from Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi. She uses oil, Acrylic and watercolor to create her paintings. She loves to paint stage backdrops, murals, magazine covers and signboards.

Kalpana Adesara:

Kalpana grew up in India and got her BA in Arts from South Gujarat University India before moving to the USA. She has pursued her interest in art forms such as painting, mehndi, and clay. Lately, she is working mostly with acrylics and exploring her henna art on surfaces like candles, wood, and clay pots. She has won several awards for her artwork and has received recognition at prestigious events. She does bridal mehndi, runs art classes, and serves as the Publicity chair at FALC. Her art journey has been exciting and has given her a feeling of great privilege.

Divya Eby:

Divya Eby is an artist settled in Bay Area and is the Director of Colorful Moments Art School, Cupertino. She received the prestigious Distinguished Artist award from the City of Cupertino for 2019-20. She did a lot of art works in acrylic, oil, water color, charcoal, color pencil, glass colors and clay. Divya has been teaching art for 20 years, has been an exhibiting member of the Fine Arts League of Cupertino since 2008 and is now serving as the Treasurer of FALC. She participated in various art shows in and around Bay Area and received many awards.

Bay Area artist Deborah Shea paints joyful personality and effervescence into her stunning pastel florals. She transforms pure pigments of pastel powder into beautiful, vivid floral portraits. Her large-scale florals create spectacular focal points in any setting. I love to capture all the beauty in flowers, exploring the abstract shapes, finding the path of light, creating transparency and building the luminous color of the flower centers and petals. Deborah Shea was born into a family of artists and grew up in San Francisco. She received a B.A in Studio Art & Design at the UC Davis where she studied with Wayne Thiebaud. She had a career for over 20 years as a creative director, & illustrator before becoming a full-time fine artist in 2017. She has won numerous awards in juried group and solo exhibitions and teaches pastel workshops at Filoli and Pacific Art League.

The City of Mountain View Visual Arts Committee (VAC) seeks to commission an artist, or an artist team, to create the design and commission for public artwork for the Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center. The City intends to bid the construction of the new aquatics center in summer 2021 and complete construction in 2022. The expectation is for the selected pieces to be installed by the artist during the construction phase. All applications must be submitted online via CaFe at www.callforentry.org, an online application system for calls for entry. There is no charge for artists to apply or use CaFe. Applications that are mailed, faxed, or hand-delivered will not be considered, as this is an online system. Applications are due by January 27th, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. (PST).
