Sharon was born in Oakland, Ca and has spent most of her life in Santa Cruz, Ca. Her career began with studying watercolor, color & design, interior design and architectural drawing. She started acrylics on canvas more than 20+ years ago. She has participated in hundreds of juried Art & Wine Festivals and winning many local art competitions for advertising posters. After many years being with a New York/Australian art publisher, her original paintings are now self published into Giclee prints. Sharons paintings are created in her brightly lit art studio that faces her lovely garden. Her colorful florals, peaceful beach scenes and series of fun rooster paintings have been inspired by Van Gogh. Shes filled her life with the love of painting, gardening, travel and a devoted supportive husband. Sharing her art with others have been enormously rewarding. Her next chapter of life she'll be teaching on the Cunard Queen Mary 2 starting this fall 2019.
